Barbara Isabella Clawson, 84, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. No visitation. Barbara was born September 20, 1932 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Kenneth and Anna (Meyers) Gopsill. She married Donald Dean Clawson, Sr. on October 11, 1964 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Barbara was a homemaker and she loved to play Bingo.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald, on November 9, 2008, one son, Donald, Jr., and two sisters, Shirley and Audrey. She is survived by one son, Tom Clawson and his wife, Terry, Harrisonville, Missouri; 6 brothers, Kenny Gopsill, John Gopsill, Donald Gopsill, Stewart Gopsill, Gordon Gopsill, and Norman Gopsill; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
