Arthur John Kloser, 86, Lee's Summit, MO, died May 7, 2018.  Memorial graveside services were held June 23, 2018 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO.

Arthur was born June 13, 1931 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edward and Rose (Riedel) Kloser. He married Patricia Ann Blue on January 29, 1953. He was a U.S. Korean War Army veteran. Arthur received a Bachelor's degree in Management and Marketing Economics and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.  Arthur had lived in Kansas City, MO before moving to Lee's Summit in 1988. He had worked for Continental Casualty Insurance in Illinois and was transferred to Kansas City, MO. He later worked for IBM and Lazier in Kansas City, and then for City Computers in Johnson County, KS. He then went to work for Gladstone Computing Services where he traveled all over the world, and helped patent the Y2K program for 2000 computers, before retiring in 2000.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia on August 2, 2013, and one sister, Dorothy. He is survived by two sons, Mark Kloser, Drexel, MO and Jeff Kloser (Renea), Adrian, MO; two daughters, Wendy Buffer (Steven), Louisville, CO and Kelly Angotti (Robert), Kansas City, MO; one brother, Richard Kloser, Morton Grove, IL; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
