Obituary
Anita N. Kupersmith, 65, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10;00 a.m. Friday, April 8 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City.
Anita was born March 16, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Julius and Lillian (Rodier) Kupersmith. She grew up at the family home in Weatherby Lake, Missouri, and was a 1969 graduate of St. Pius X High School. Anita was a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, had worked in advertising and taught grade school in Kansas City. She loved dogs and cats and loved living at the lake home. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Anita was preceded in death by her father, one brother, Edward, and one sister, Denise. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Kupersmith, Harrisonville, Missouri, and several cousins.
