Anece Marie Clark, 64, Peculiar, MO, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. Memorial services were held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Peculiar.


Anece was born April 26, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Harry Lee and Ruby Naomi (Dunn) Close, Jr. She was a graduate of Rosedale High School in Kansas City, Kansas. Anece married Russell Clark on September 30, 2000 at the Little Chapel of Love in Kansas City, Missouri.

Anece had lived in the Kansas City, Missouri area all of her life. She worked for LOCTITE in Peculiar for 10 years. She was a member of the Shawnee Mission Pilot Club, and loved playing bingo at the Harrisonville Elks Lodge.

Anece was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rick Close. She is survived by her husband, Russell, of the home; four sons, Ricky Crumby, Archie, MO, Nicholas Clark, Long Beach, CA, Patrick Clark, Mineral City, MO, and Benjamin Clark, Leavenworth, KS; five brothers, Loren Close and Terry Close, both of Warsaw, MO, Carl Close, Shawnee, KS, David Close and Neal Close, both of Raytown, MO, and one grandson, Cody.
