Amy Lee Brown, 49, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at ABC Health Care in Harrisonville. Funeral services were held  September 27, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.  Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Amy was born January 31, 1970 in Fargo, North Dakota, a daughter of Basil and Geraldine (Janow) Brown.  Amy was preceded in death by both her mother (1980) and father (2017).  She also had a brother, Paul Brown, of unknown status.  She had lived in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville in April 2003.  She worked for the Casco Area Workshop for some time in those early years.

Amy's parents have not been in Amy's life for years and with Amy's effervescent personality, her family became all those who cared for her at ABC Health Care and those who met her through doctor visits, from Harrisonville to Kansas City, Missouri to Overland Park, Kansas.  Amy entertained many a waiting room over the past several years.  Amy also knew what she liked in men and would let you and the gentleman know in several not so subtle ways.

If you met Amy, you had a story to share about her.  She was larger than life in so many ways.  There was a lot of personality packed into that young lady.  We all loved Amy, without question.  She had a way of getting to you right in that spot in your heart with a depth that not many people reach.

Amy also had many friends among the residents of ABC Health Care.  Her roommate, Laura, was her most dear and inseparable friend.  We will all miss Amy's loud shrieks and announcements of our presence – no, we will miss nearly everything about Amy.  Thank you, Amy, for gracing our lives with your presence.
