Alyssa Renee Riggert, 16, Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 from noon-4:00 at the Memorial Park Shelter # 2, 998 Commercial Street in Belton, MO.

Alyssa was born September 21, 2004 in Overland Park, KS, a daughter of Robert Keith Cox and Michelle Renee Riggert.  She had lived and attended school in Belton.

She is survived by her father, Robert Cox, and stepmother, Dana Cox, Harrisonville, MO; her mother, Michelle Renee Riggert, and her stepfather, James Engelby, Belton, MO; Tayja Cox and Teresa Cox, Garden City, MO; stepsister, Allison Dye, Harrisonville; two stepbrothers, Zachary Dye, Harrisonville, and Ethan Engelby, Belton; two brothers, Robert Simmons, III (Alexis), Lee's Summit, MO, and Dillon Simmons, Kansas City, MO; her paternal grandmother, Joyce Montoya, Denver, CO; paternal grandfather, Robert Simmons, Sr., Nevada, MO, maternal grandparents, Tad Riggert (Teri), Raymore, MO, and Alan Ross, Kansas City, MO;  maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Riggert, Columbia, MO, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  Alyssa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Riggert, great-grandmother, Mable Zupon, and great-grandfather, Vernon Riggert.
