Alice Lea Watson, 65, Belton, MO, was born June 27, 1945 in Thayer, MO and departed this life on June 14, 2011 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Freeman Cemetery in Freeman, MO.

Alice worked in the crystal business for over 40 years before retiring in 2002. She was a dedicated worker and had many friends. Her joys in life were time spent with family, being around children and her beloved dog, Meeko.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Leatha Watson of Thayer, MO; one brother, Elvin Watson, Thayer, MO; five sisters, Neoma Holman, Blythe, CA, Ella Crews, Thayer, MO, Leta Watson, Thayer, MO, Viola Ganley, Shawnee Mission, KS and Marie Keltner, Kansas City, KS. She is survived by five brothers, Wayne Watson, Overland Park, KS, Waymon Watson, Thayer, MO, Ray Watson, Raymore, MO, Carl Watson, Westville, OK and Gene Watson, Belton, MO; two sisters, Lucille Brewer, Topeka, KS and Ruth Herring, Branson, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
