Alice Mae Lukenbill, 86, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Inurnment for Alice and her husband, Jack, will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Alice was born July 25, 1936 in Schell City, MO, a daughter of Isaac and Fay (Hicks) Carriger. She spent her early years in Lansing, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Leonard "Jack" Lukenbill, January 6, 1954 in Tijuana, Mexico.  They moved to Cass County, MO in 1962 and had lived in Archie and Harrisonville. Alice worked for Durham Bus Service as a school bus driver for many years, retiring in 2015. She was a member of the Harrisonville United Methodist Church.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack in 2016; and a son, Leonard "Lenny" Lukenbill. She is survived by three sons: Jeff Lukenbill, Mark Lukenbill, and Dennis Lukenbill; two daughters: Jackie Harris and Patricia Francy; 8 grandchildren: Mark Lukenbill Jr., Corey Lukenbill, Chris Harris, Scott Harris, Garrett Lukenbill, Barbara Schlesinger, Devon Lukenbill, Josh Lukenbill; and 14 great-grandchildren.
