Albert E. K. Bailey, 66, Peculiar, MO, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO with burial in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 24 at the Atkinson Funeral Home. Albert was born November 20, 1950 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of Harold E. K. and Virginia May (Peek) Bailey. He was a 1968 graduate of Cass-Midway High School. He was a lifelong Cass County, MO resident. He married Linda Kay Munsell on March 18, 1978 in Raymore, MO. Albert owned Bailey Electric in Peculiar for 25 years, retiring in 2014.

Albert is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; two daughters, Angela Parrott (Brian), Cleveland, MO and Lisa Peek (Roger, Jr.), Peculiar, MO; his mother, Virginia May Bailey, Cleveland, MO; six brothers, Tommie Bailey (Pam), Cleveland, Stevie Bailey (Della), Cleveland, Harold Bailey (Teresa), Peculiar, James Bailey, Belton, MO, Douglas Bailey (Candace), Freeman, MO, Mark Bailey (Alea), Belton; three sisters, Linda Cherry (Robert), Peculiar, Brenda Sedwick (John), Peculiar, Teresa Mathews (Billy), Cleveland; 4 grandchildren, Caleb Parrott, Conor Parrott, Jacob Peek, Sabrina Peek; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
