Adelma Louise Moloski, 88, Freeman, MO, died Monday, September 13, 2010 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Kansas City, 9237 Ward Parkway, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Adelma was born June 16, 1922 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of William P. and Mary A. (Abramovitz) Ruskoski. She married James Frank Moloski on November 22, 1941. She lived most of her adult life in Freeman on a farm that she shared with her husband and their three children. Adelma worked as a seamstress and loved to sew, making clothes for others.
Adelma was preceded in death by her husband, James on February 17, 1996, two sons, Robert and Jim and daughter, Sharon. She is survived by son-in-law, Bill McNatt, Paola, KS; 4 grandchildren, Jim Moloski, Brad Moloski, Christopher McNatt and Kim Chance; 2 step-grandchildren, Scott McNatt and Kelly Bishop. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves Gidget, her beloved cat of 14 years.
The family would like to thank the staff of Crown Care Center for their excellent care and love shown to Adelma during her time there and also to Crossroads Hospice for their care during her last days.
