Derek Warren Reynolds, 27, Raymore, MO, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Belton Regional Medical Center, Belton, MO.  Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the New Covenant Fellowship in Garden City, MO with burial in Austin Cemetery, Archie, MO.  Contributions may be made to the New Covenant Fellowship.

Derek was born December 17, 1990 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of Jimmy and Deana (Fenton) Reynolds. He was a 2009 graduate of Archie High School. He married Veronica Hartwig on September 16, 2017 in Spring Hill, KS.  Derek was an operator/tv technician for Insituform for four years and a member of the Operator's Union Local #101 in Kansas City, MO. He had lived in Harrisonville, Garden City, and Archie, before moving to Raymore.

One of Derek's many passions was working out at the gym. He was getting his body ready to compete in a body building competition. He really wanted to open a gym of his own one day. He loved horses and the sport of Rodeo. He had competed off and on throughout his years. The main passion he had was to spend time with his family and friends. Derek always had a smile on his face.

Derek is survived by his wife, Veronica "Roni" Reynolds, Raymore, MO; his mother, Deana Dalton (Gabe), Harrisonville, MO; his father, Jimmy Reynolds (Dawna), Garden City, MO; four brothers, Colby Dalton, Zach Dalton, Josh Dalton, Ty Dalton, all of Kansas City, MO; four sisters, Dani Dalton, Harrisonville, MO, Madi Dillard, Effingham, KS, Mallory Dillard and Jessi Reynolds, both of Garden City, MO; maternal grandparents, Don and Barbara Fenton, Harrisonville, MO; paternal grandparents, Jim and Jean Reynolds, Garden City, MO, and step-paternal grandparents, Dan and Kathy Houchin, Lawrence, KS.
