Alicia (Chai) J. Lundberg

Alicia J. (Chai) Lundberg, 56, of Lenexa, KS, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with burial in Oakland Cemetery, Harrisonville. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Atkinson Chapel.

Alicia was born May 3, 1956 in Miami, Ok to Robert Irby and Amy Alice (Cooley) Faucett. She graduated high school in Cornell, Ill. She was an executive secretary for US Toy, she served on the city council in Harrisonville and owned and operated a beauty shop in Harrisonville. Alicia also loved to write.

Alicia is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband John Lundberg of Lenexa, Ks; three sons, Aaron Chai and wife Kerry, Ben Chai and wife Tanya and Josh Chai and wife Melisa; one daughter, Rachel Chai, one step-son, Steven Lundberg; five sisters, Janice Lacy and husband Terry, Patti Rinker and husband Brett, Brenda Byrd and husband Kevin, Bama Robinson and husband Bret, and Sandy Gray and husband Jim; ten grandchildren, Sarah, Eden, Colin, Alexis, David, Jaxon, Jaelin, Sophia, Audrina and Evan.

A source of energy and passion in all she did, Alicia influenced many lives throughout the years. She was a mom who cheered, a hairstylist who listened, an aunt who laughed, a daughter who admired, a wife who embraced and a sister who loved, but the most important role she played was as an ambassador for Jesus Christ, whom she finally joined in heaven. Alicia often spoke that when her final day came, she'd look forward to the day that her family rejoined her in heaven. We'll miss you daily Mom, and will also now dream of that day.
